8 Months

I haven't been very good at keeping my blog updated, I'll try to do better, I blame my momma. I'm 8 months old now and I weigh 18 lbs 4.5 oz. I'm getting so big and grown-up. And mommy says I'm growing up way too fast. I'm getting very wriggly and I want to move, move, move but I just haven't figured out this crawling thing yet. Mom thinks it won't be too long before I'm moving around on my own and even pulling myself up. But she's certainly not rushing me! I'm still a little funny about my bottle and won't ever drink more than 5 oz at a time, usually it's between 3 and 4 oz. I'll usually drink a bottle when I wake up in the morning and then I'll only my bottle before a nap. I'm eating my baby food really well and I am always wanting to eat grown-up food. I'm always interested in what everyone else is eating, but it's hard when I have no teeth yet and I'm still a bit sensitive to textures (I'll gag if something's too lumpy) but I do love trying new foods. I even had some bites of guacamole the other day! My favorite foods right now are cinnamon applesauce, mangoes, and ice cream, of course.

 I thought I'd use this post to share a couple funny things about me. One of the funniest things is that I always sneeze when I'm eating. I'll end up sneezing about 99 percent of the time I'm in my highchair and usually with a mouth full of food. There is rarely warning and that means that who ever is feeing me, usually mom, gets covered in whatever I'm eating. I'm not the only one who should wear a bib when I'm eating. Even though it can be a little frustrating for mom, or who over is feeding me, everyone still thinks it's kinda cute and it is something mommy will always remember. I also learned a new trick, I stick out my bottom lip and spit. I think it's fun to do and everyone thinks it's pretty funny and cute. Mommy got a good video of it on her phone, it's posted to facebook but hopefully she can eventually post all my videos my blog or on a youtube account. Another silly thing about me is that I love The Big Bang Theory theme song. I know it's very random but it's definitely my favorite song. Mommy got the series on DVD for Christmas and watched them over and over again for a couple week straight during winter time and I must have just heard the song so many times that I never forgot it. Now whenever it happens to be on T.V. I stop whatever I'm doing to listen and watch.

Right now I love playing with my playtable that talks and plays music and songs, the bees are my favorite. I'm also getting very grabby and I like playing with anything that's not a toy, like hangers, paper, the laptop and so on. Pretty much anything new I see I'll try to grab and put in my mouth. Mom knows this will only get worse when I learn to crawl! I'm also discovering how to throw and drop things. Especially when I'm in my highchair, I like to toss everything over the side.

The weather is finally getting better and I'm going on a lot more walks. Now that it's getting to be summer time, I will make sure to update my blog with all the fun things we go do, I will also try to be better at updating my blog with some new pictures.
