Blackberries

This evening we went to pick blackberries for pies. Mommy walked me around in my stroller while grandpa and grandma picked berries. Mommy let me taste a few blackberries, I liked them at first but then spit them out. They were tart! When we got home we made two pies. It was too late to eat pie that night but we were able to have pie for breakfast! I had a couple bites but didn't like it very much. I might be like mommy and only like pie fresh right out of the oven! So we'll have to go pick more berries earlier in the afternoon and try again!
