End of Summer

Well, it's the end of summer and I think I've had the best summer a one-year-old could have! Even though summer is not technically over until the end of September, mommy and grandma go back to working and teaching for the school year starting tomorrow. I did pretty good on my summer bucket list, here it is with all the things crossed-off!

  2. Chism Beach Park
  3. Meydenbauer Beach Park
  4. Robinswood Park
  5. Walk at the Mercer Slough
  6. Bellevue Park for 4th of July

  8. Walk around downtown Seattle/Ivar's for lunch

  13. Hidden Valley Park

  17. Lots of walks on the Kirkland waterfront with Daddy/Houghton Beach Park
  18. Go on a Hike
  19. Crossroads Water Play Splash Park
  20. Juanita Bay Park and Beach Park
  21. Wilburton Hill Park
  22. Pick Blackberries for Pie

  26. Snoqualmie Falls
  27. Botanical Gardens
  28. Visit the Tri-Cities
  29. Make s'mores
  30. Lots of trips to Yogurtland

As you can see there are some things I didn't get to but we'll add them to next summer's list, I'll probably enjoy them better when I'm a little bigger anyways, like the boat and ferry rides. We'll also do some more things on the weekends coming up while the weather is still good, like the Botanical Gardens and Mercer Slough. I'm sad summer is coming to an end. I loved having lazy mornings and being able to do so many fun and special things. We'll have some busier mornings around here now that mommy and grandma have to get to work on time. It won't be too bad, mommy is only working four mornings a week and will usually be home by 12:30, so we get to spend the rest of the day together, and if I can't spend the mornings with mommy, I can't ask for better people to be with while she's gone! I get two mornings a week with Nana and great-grandpa, a morning with grandma and a morning with daddy! I'm sure a lucky boy to have so many people who love me and want to take such good care of me!

Here are some pictures Henry took of me at the park today. We had a little Labor Day picnic in the park, and you can see a video Henry made of me swinging at http://vimeo.com/48766461. Also, further below are a few pictures mommy took over the summer. Enjoy!

My first ride on a tire swing

Playing with Sam's nebulizer, I'm going to miss my Uncle Sam when he goes back to Rexburg this week!

Yesterday Grandpa turned my car seat around in Grandma'a car and put in my new car seat into mommy's car! Mommy can't believe I'm old enough and big enough to be facing forward in the car! She was a little sad to take the infant carrier seat out of her car, she brought me home from the hospital in that car seat! Here are pictures from grandma's car.
