Hot Weekend

We were so excited that the forecast said there was sunny, 80 degree weather for the weekend and the best part is that it actually happened! We had such a fun weekend playing outside in the sun! On saturday morning, Mommy and I spent the morning on a walk. We left around 9:30am and walked all the way to Bellevue Park to play on the playground for a little bit. We then headed toward the mall and on our way saw a little boy feeding the ducks and his mommy gave me some bread so I could feed the ducks, too! That was so nice! I had so much fun feeding them and saying "num-num!" while they ate each piece I tossed to them. After that we walked to the mall. Mommy's plan was to get a Jamba Juice to drink while we walked home but unfortunately, the entrance closest to Jamba Juice is also the closest to Top Pot Doughnuts. Since Mommy was so hungry walking all that way, she was tempted and couldn't resist. So we got to eat chocolate doughnuts! Of course, we still got a yummy smoothie for our way home since it was getting so hot! We stopped by the playground on our way home, too. There was a boy who had a really cool bubble machine and I got to run through the bubbles which was a lot of fun. After that we started on our way home. I was such a good boy the entire walk and sat in my stroller and never even asked for my binky the whole time!

On Sunday we went to church in the morning and grandpa rescued me from the nursery and I got to come home and help him makes cookies! We invited Siena to come over and play in our backyard for the afternoon and we had so much fun! Natalie and Charlotte also came to play! Grandpa finished putting the new playhouse together and everyone loves it! Between the new playhouse, the swingset and our blow-up pools, we had non-stop fun in the sun! We even ended the night by making s'mores in the firepit. I love playing with the water and and splashing and spraying! I love my new water-shoes grandma bought me! Siena and I were playing in the water even after the sun went down! Mommy had to force me to come inside for a bath! I sure love playing with "Niena" and hope we get to play together a lot this summer!

The sunshine and warm weather has been lasting all week and I love spending so much time in the backyard. I've also been playing in the sprinkler at daddy's house and helping grandma Ali water the trees on the deck. I'm going to be sad when our usual cool, cloudy spring weather returns!
