Mommy and daddy took me to my first baseball game last night! We had a lot of fun! And I was super excited because we took the bus! Daddy came over after my nap and we ate a snack and headed for the bus stop around 4pm. We brought coats thinking it was supposed to get cool but it stayed fairly sunny and warm the whole night! We got off the bus a few blocks away from the stadium, about a 10 or so minute walk. When we got there, we were so excited to find out it was train day! I love trains! We got three little train cars. The guy taking our ticket also asked if it was my first Mariner game and said if we went to guest services they'll give me a certificate. So we did that first. We then went to find our seats that were way up at the top. I didn't mind because I love the stairs but mommy and daddy were pretty worn out by the end of the night! I wasn't too interested in sitting in the seats because we were there so early and no one else was around. I just want to climb up and down the satirs but they were pretty steep so we went out to where I could walk around and climb stairs. We bought a yummy pretzel and found a spot where I could see the buses and trains and watch airplanes. We went back to our seats but there still weren't a lot of people around and I was squirmy so we went and walked around the whole stadium to where the kids' play area is. I ran around for a bit but the playground was a little too big for me and I couldn't really climb through it on my own. After that we stood in line to see the Mariner Moose. I was really excited to see him and gave him a high five but I wouldn't stand with him for a picture so mom had to be in the picture with me. I did blow a kiss goodbye when we left! We made our way all the way back to our seats and got some popcorn on the way there. Everyone filled in and there were lots of kids around so I sat in our seats a lot better. I ate popcorn and even got cotton candy from a friend of mommy's that was there. It was so yummy! Even though I was finally sitting nicely, we decided to leave after the 5th inning before I got too tired and cranky for our trip home. I had fun walking to the bus station, I got to run some of the way and daddy carried me the rest of the way. We then had to wait for about 20 minutes for our bus to come and I kept wanting to get on every bus and train that came by! We got home around 9pm and all the walking and stairs really wore out mommy and daddy but we had a lot of fun! We hope to go to a couple more games this summer and I know I'll go to at least one more game when uncle Sam is in town! Go Mariners!
