Yesterday we went to Remlinger Farm for some fall fun! Fall has definitely arrived along with cool weather and lots of rain.We planned to come to Remlinger last Saturday but it was pouring so we postponed it. I'm glad we did because this weekend has been sunny and warm! The perfect weather! And even though the weather was beautiful, it was still early enough that it wasn't overly crowded for Halloween. When we first got there, I immediately heard the train whistle and was SO excited! Mommy wishes she got a picture of my face every time I heard it! I was so happy and surprised and I just couldn't wait to go on the train! But since there was no line for the pony rides so we did that first. I always love pony rides and I went the whole time holding on all by myself. Mommy walked with me but I didn't need her help! After the ponies, I went on the new mini-train ride while Natalie and Henry took some pictures of Charlotte. After that, we were finally ready to go on the real train! I was just so excited, I was in heaven! I probably could have just stayed on and gone around and around and would have been happy! The train goes on a nice little ride along the river and goes by some horses and other animals and then ends after going through a little tunnel! So fun! After the train ride we went to see the animals and the hay jump. I like feeding the animals. Mommy threw me in the hay pit and I didn't really like it, but I did like the maze part with Grandpa. After that we went to ride the roller coaster! Mommy was so excited for my first roller coaster ride. She wasn't sure whether I'd really like or be scared. Mom hoped I'd love it and that it would be like a super fun train ride. I seemed to enjoy it but I still loved the regular train more. At least I wasn't afraid! We also got to ride on the flying pumpkins which was super fun, too. After lunch, Charlotte and I rode in the little canoe ride together and we got to go around twice since no one else was in line! We then rode the train again! I loved the train! Henry stayed off to take some good pictures of us passing by. We ended our fun time at the farm by picking out some pumpkins to bring home. I helped grandma pick out a couple little ones for her flower pots and mommy picked out two good pumpkins for the front door. We grabbed one more big pumpkin to carve closer to Halloween. We had so much fun and we're thinking about getting a annual pass to Remlinger so we can enjoy the rides and train all next summer!
This morning we went to Salmon days. We really took advantage of the sunny, warm weather this weekend!
