We made it to our first baseball game of the season! Uncle Sam was given some really nice tickets to the Mariners game so Grandpa, mommy and I went with him and we had so much fun! I got to wear Uncle Sam's old Griffey jersey which was super neat! The seats were in the front row right behind the visiting team dugout. It was so exciting being so close and I loved seeing the players and watching them catch and hit baseballs, especially because I've been so into playing baseball ever since Sam has come home. I even got two balls tossed to me during batting practice and the game! The first one I tried throwing back because I thought they were playing catch, oops! I also got to see the Mariner Moose and we got to eat lots of yummy stadium food! Grandpa bought a liquorice rope and a hot dog! I had fun walking around the stadium a couple times and then I sat really nicely and watched the game until we left. I'm excited to go back again this summer! Also, a couple days after the game, mommy saw a really cute baseball book at the bookstore. It's called "Goodnight Baseball" and it's one of my favorite books now!
