Mommy has been wanting to take me to the Journey to the South Pacific IMAX because it's all about sea animals and the coral reefs. We snuck out of preschool early and picked up uncle Sam and headed to the Seattle Science Center! Before the IMAX started, we had time to walk around the science center and look around some of the exhibits. I liked the dinosaurs, bugs and water play area. We then headed to the theater. Mommy was so excited for the IMAX since I love the ocean and sea animals so much. I also love whale sharks and even have a whale shark at home to play with. We had fun and even got popcorn and soda. The movie was in 3D and I even kept my glasses on, mommy wasn't sure I would or not. I loved the movie but I would get too excited and yell out when different animals were being talked about and I would get a little chatty. It's a good thing we were sitting a little away from most the other families there!
After the movie we went to the armory to eat lunch at the food court. Uncle Sam and Mommy agreed that they options have gone down hill, it's just not the same as when they were kids! They have weird, fancy restaurants and there aren't really any good places left to eat. And no more candy store! We ended eating at a Mexican place that was pretty good and walked back through the science center to the car. And of course we stopped to get a smashed penny on our way out! I get a penny for my smashed penny collection book every time I go to the zoo, aquarium, museum or somewhere fun downtown!
