Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

For awhile now, mommy has been really wanting to go to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. I love going to woodland Park Zoo and I am super into sea animals. She heard the zoo is really good and you can see lots of great animals and we were excited to see both zoo animals and sea animals. The drive down wasn't too bad and the weather was great, actually it got a little too warm at times! Mom got pretty sweaty when we were walking around and I wanted her to hold me for a bit. We started are day at the aquarium and we got to "pet" sting rays (I thought it was fun even though I couldn't really reach) and see lots of sharks! We then went and saw a few animals like the elephants and tigers. We took a little break and got to watch a wild-life show in the amphitheater. It was nice to sit in the shade for a little and have a snack. We then headed over to the polar bears and walruses. It was fun to see some animals we've never seen before. They also had a fun little play area with a slide and a splash-pad. It was a fun way to cool down! We went and grabbed a snack/lunch at the little café and then we hung out in the gift shop for awhile before heading back home. It was a lot of fun and worth the drive. We'll hopefully head back again next year!
