Highland Days

Today mommy and I went to go see Natalie and Grandpa at Issaquah Highland Days. Natalie had to work at the Swedish booth and grandpa went to help her. It was supposed to be cloudy and rainy but it was just overcast all morning long and it didn't look like it would start raining very hard so we were optimistic and headed out there. Well... we got there, parked, walk to Natalie's booth and about 5 minutes later it started POURING! It was an absolute down pour. That's Seattle for you! So we just stayed under Natalie's tent and people watched for awhile. Mommy braved the rain and grabbed a little bite to eat and as soon as the rain let up (it never stopped completely, just went from pouring to a light rain) we ran to the car. Let's hope that next year we will have better weather so we can enjoy the fun activities, if not, at least I'll be old enough to jump in the puddles!

I loved watching the swings go round and round

It was too rainy for us to ride the train, but hopefully next year!
