I had a wonderful Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve at Nana's house and we had a yummy dinner and then just spent the evening visiting together.
On Christmas morning, we woke up and Mommy, Uncle Sam, Grandma and Grandpa and I opened our presents. Santa brought me a new car ramp and I loved it! It even plays music when the car drives down it. I dance every time! He also brought me a stocking with two little airplanes and a spiky bouncy ball that lights up. We all took turn opening the presents from under the tree. Mommy got new snow boots and make-up and stuff for working out. I got lots of wonderful things from grandma and grandpa, I don't even think I can remember them all! They gave me a laptop, a remote control cement truck, and a stuffed Mickey Mouse! Uncle Sam gave me a BYU-Idaho t-shirt and he also got one for Charlotte. Mommy gave Grandpa a glider board for my stroller. She thought I'd like to ride standing on the back since I don't really sit in my stroller for very long anyways. This way I can hop on and off easily. Plus it's fun to ride standing up! It's like a skateboard! It will also be handy when we all go somewhere together or when Grandma and Grandpa are babysitting both me and Charlotte. Now we don't need both strollers. Charlotte can ride in the seat and I can stand on the back. After we opened all our presents, we ate a yummy breakfast and waited for Henry and Natalie and Charlotte. We then opened all our presents to each other. Natalie and Henry gave me a car steering wheel and a magnetic fish puzzle. Momma and I gave Charlotte a little pearl bracelet. We had a very fun Christmas morning!
We then went to Nana's house to open presents and to have some yummy lunch. Nana and Great Grandpa gave me a a little radio, Jingle the dog books, and a drum! I made them a hand print ornament that matches all of Nana's Christmas decorations. After spending a little time hanging out and playing, Momma took me home for a nap.
After my nap we went over to spend Christmas evening with Daddy. Grandpa Mikey was gone a trip so I opened a few presents but we waited to do a bigger Christmas a little later. Daddy and Grandma Ali got me some good toys! I got a basketball hoop, an airplane pillow racer, and a dump truck and firetruck. Now I have some really good toys to play with at when I go over to play! What a fun and busy Christmas day we had!
A couple days after Christmas, we spent an afternoon over at the Curtis' house. Uncle Sam, Grandma and I all needed haircuts and one of Sam's favorite meals is Uncle Mike's ribs so we just planned a whole day to visit together. We also took some family pictures while we were out there and they turned out pretty good, thanks to uncle Henry's camera! I did such a good job while getting my haircut. I was able to eat a candy cane and I sat so nicely on momma's lap. Cindy was even able to use the clippers! My new haircut is super cute! We had such a fun afternoon and the ribs were delicious!
When Grandpa Mikey got back in town, we were able to have Christmas round two at the Mayfield's. I was a lucky boy and got to open even more presents! I got a little tool set, a wooden ball/pounding tower, a xylophone, and a couple new airplane toys. One was a little Delta plane that makes airplane noises and "takes off." Just like the planes Grandpa Mikey flies!
I sure had a wonderful Christmas! There are so many things I love about the Christmas season, we were able to do so many fun things and spent a lot of time with family. I'll sure miss the Christmas lights and decorations and I can't wait until next year!
