Easter

We had such a fun Easter! We celebrated for four days! On Friday, I was able to have my first Easter Egg hunt with some friends from church. Mommy's friend planned a little get together at Hunts Point Park and it was so much fun. Mommy didn't know how well I would understand what to do but I picked up on it quickly. Mommy help me get the first egg and put it in my bag and then I picked up the rest all on my own! I was one of the littlest kids there so she took me over to the climbing structure where a bunch of eggs were and then me find them all by myself. It didn't take me long to learn the words "egg" and "bag." Even though I had lots of fun playing on the playground, I kept going over to the soccer practice that was at the park to play "ball."

On Saturday, grandma and grandpa took me out to see Natalie and Charlotte and we went to the Klahanie Easter Egg Hunt. After that we went out to breakfast at Hop Jacks, yum! Saturday evening mommy and I went to Aubrey's house for an Easter potluck. All of Mommy's friends were there and I had so much fun playing outside with all of the kids! I also ate lots of yummy food! After dinner we had a big Easter Egg hunt and this time I knew just what to do! After that I was able to jump on the trampoline and I loved it! It was my first time and I had so much fun!!

On Sunday morning I got to look for my Easter Basket before church. The Easter Bunny brought me some really great things! I got a stuffed Donald Duck, a foam airplane that flies, a book all about different trucks and a helicopter t-shirt. After church and my nap, I got to play outside for a little bit. The weather was so nice! It was sunny and almost 70 degrees! We even played out on the street and rode the scooter around! It was the first day I got to wear some of my new spring/summer clothes! We then went to Nana's house for a yummy dinner and got to spend some time visiting with Aunt Julie and Uncle Mike. We also went in the hot tub for a little bit. It was too hot at first but Uncle Henry cooled it down with some buckets of ice cubes!

On Monday evening, mommy and I went to Daddy's house to celebrate Easter again! When I got there, Daddy had Easter eggs and Elmo eggs hidden around the house. I was able to collect them in my Easter basket that Grandma Ali got me! The Easter Bunny also brought me some new gardening tools to use at Daddy's house! I love my new rake and shovel! Grandma also made some really cute and really yummy cupcakes! We also had a barbecue with hamburgers and hotdogs, and of course, olives!

We had such a fun Easter weekend. The weather was wonderful and we had lots of fun spending time with family and friends!
