Springtime is here!

Spring weather has finally arrive and we hope it stays! I have been having so much fun playing outside! It is my favorite thing to do and when it isn't cold and wet mommy lets me play outside even more. I love my swing and slide and can climb up the ladder and slide down all by myself! I also love to dig in dir, shovel rocks, play ball and shoot baskets, push my stroller and trucks around, look for airplanes, smell flowers and more! Nana and great-grandpa also got me a little lawn mower so I can now mow with grandpa.

My Swing!

My little Mickey Mouse I got in the mail from Daddy!

On the first Tuesday that the weather was fairly nice, mommy and daddy took me to the zoo. I have been there since the fall, except for the zoolights, and I had so much fun! I was much more aware of the animals and now I know I understand what the zoo is! It wasn't very crowded and we saw a lot of animals. The elephants were the best. We saw two outside and then saw one in the elephant barn taking a shower! It was so neat! It was also my first time to ride on the carousel. I really loved riding the horse but it's a little expensive for such a short ride. We were there for 2 hours and didn't even make it to the reptile house or zoonasium! Next time!

I'm 19 months old now and getting so big! I'm growing up so fast but mommy is happy that I'm still so cuddly and sweet. I love to give hugs and kisses and snuggle! I'm also getting very busy and love to run and play! I love to play cars and trains. My favorite thing is to be outside. I also love to read books. I don't sit very long for TV but my favorite show is Chuggington. Sometimes I'm so silly and goofy and I make mommy laugh because she think I'm just so cute! I'm also talking more and more and learn new words almost everyday. Some of my new words include: blue, button, loud, dirt, swing, egg and bag!

This month was also the one year anniversary of Lincoln passing away and on March 19th it would have been his third birthday. His family honored him by celebrating Pinwheel Day! I am also a very lucky boy because Lincoln's parents are letting me borrow his tricycle. I am very honored to be able to use his tricycle and it makes me feel so special and close to Lincoln. Mommy knows that he and I would have been such good friends! I love my "ow-ycle" and have so much fun riding it on the street and in the backyard!
