Update!

Just a little update to start off summer! We've had such a busy week! Trains, planes, the pool and the beach! We're getting ready for summer, that's for sure! I'm getting so grown-up lately and mommy can't believe how much I'm learning and changing everyday! I'm growing taller and looking more grown-up, too. I'm talking so much and say a new word or little sentence every day! Mommy loves that we have little conversations now. She loves how I say certain words or phrases, like "baloo" for blue or "help me" when I want to help someone do something. I also love talking on the phone and love to call aunt Julie and Nana. I'm so cute on the phone!

I love cars and trains more and more each day. I also LOVE the movie Cars. It's pretty much the only show I'll sit and watch. I still like my Mega Machines DVD but not as much as I love Cars! It's my favorite! I just love Lightning McQueen! Mommy even went and bought me a little McQueen car and I love taking him everywhere and driving him around. It's a good thing mommy loves the movie Cars, too!

I love being outside and digging in dirt! I love my dump truck and shovels. I also love taking walks on the street and pushing my lawnmower around. I could be outside all day! Bubbles, my swing, playing with Rio! So many things to do! Sometimes I'm good at entertaining myself but most the time I want someone to go outside and play with me. I love going to the park and climbing around. I can't wait to go to all the different parks and beaches this summer! I also have to go out every night with grandpa to look for the moon. We haven't seen it in a long time (it's either cloudy or in the wrong spot at 9pm) but we check every night!

I'm getting to be a little stubborn sometimes and will squeal "NO!" and mommy really doesn't like it. Mommy tries to be patient and consistent and usually my bad attitude or temper tantrums don't last very long and I go back to being a sweet and happy boy! I'm also good at saying "sorry" when I need to. Mommy hopes I never get too grown-up for hugs and snuggles. I still give the best kisses and squeezes and mommy can never get enough! I'm such a silly boy sometimes and I love to chase and jump around and be goofy.

I've been such a good at church the past few weeks. I've made it through sacrament meeting without having to go to the hallway. I read books and color and play with stickers and eat gum! I've also been staying for all of nursery. Grandma and grandpa have stayed with me the past couple weeks but last Sunday I stayed all by myself the whole time! Mommy knows it's a good thing but it also makes her a little sad! She wishes she could be with me all the time! I cried a little bit here and there but I have so much fun with my church friends!

I'm not sure why I haven't mentioned it before but everyone thinks I'm going to be a lefty! Just like Grandpa! I just thought I'd put an official prediction down on the blog. I'll sometimes use my right hand but I usually prefer to do things with my left, like throw or eat. I even kick with my left foot!

I'm so excited for summer! Mommy will have some time off work and we have so many fun things planned! Woohoo!
