Mid-Winter Break

We had such a wonderful mid-winter break! Earlier in the week, grandma walked me down to the diggers working on the new houses on our street and the guy asked if I want to sit in the digger! I got to sit with him and help drive the digger! It was so exciting! I got to help scoop up dirt and dump it into the dump truck! It was like a dream come true! The pictures below aren't from when I got to "drive" the digger, they are from a different time when daddy walked me down to the diggers.

Mommy doesn't really love mid-winter break because the weather tends to not be that great so there isn't much to do outside, but all the schools are out to museums and the mall and other places are too crowded to enjoy. So we knew we'd just spend a lot of time playing at home and hanging out. Grandma was spending the week trying to get some spring cleaning done so most the week was uneventful. We spent too much time watching movies, but it was fun! I now love Snow White and Dumbo. Mommy loves that I like to watch classic Disney! I also like watching shows on the kindle and on Disney Jr. One of my new favorites is Doc McStuffins. Mommy and grandma also spent a lot of time watching the winter Olympics. Mommy and grandma stayed up way too late every night!

Mommy and I spent one day at Nana's house to play with Siena and Francesca. I love seeing Siena and we play really good together. I'm also really sweet with Francesca. I've always been sweet with Charlotte and am very gentle with baby and concerned when they cry. Mommy thinks it's so cute.

We spent the on sunny morning with daddy and went to the train store in Kirkland, unfortunately, the model trains weren't running and it was a little disappointing. So we left and went to the Starbucks in Carillon Point and got hot chocolate and a cookie. We walked down to the water to look at all the boats and to walk out onto the docks. We also found a spot to sit and throw rocks into the lake. I LOVED throwing rocks and could have stayed there all day! But we had to head home for lunch and a nap. We dropped daddy off at his house and then when we got home we saw the digger was working and so we walked down for a quick visit. There happened to be a nice pile of mud from the previous rainy days so I got to "dig" myself and dump mud! I got pretty dirty but I love being outside and getting messy!

We had a fun, low-key break and got to spend lots of lazy mornings together! Grandma also spoiled us with yummy breakfasts a couple mornings! We knew it wouldn't last long because we'd have to head back to work and school, so we enjoyed every moment! Just one month until spring officially gets here and hopefully it will bring some more sunny weather!
