End of Summer Recap

We had such an amazing summer! We had so many days full of sunshine and took advantage of all our time together. Mommy only worked one summer camp and got to spend the rest of summer with me. All day, everyday (except a few babysitting days) and it was so wonderful! Mommy just went back to work a few weeks ago. It's been a little bit of a transition but mommy is so happy at her new job at the Pro Sports Club. I miss her everyday and I know she misses me. She's working more than she did last year and she misses our Tuesdays off together but it will be worth it in the long run. She's getting paid more and gets benefits like paid holidays, breaks and time-off. She also get to save a lot more for next summertime and won't have to work at all. Which means a full two months off next summer to be together! We love our summers!

We ended our summer by house-sitting Harvey for a second time. Daddy stayed with us since mommy had to work (it was the first week of the school year). We had fun evenings together walking Harvey and eating dinners and watching shows and playing. When mommy went to work in the morning, daddy and I would walk Harvey in the morning and we'd play together until mommy got home. We love watching Harvey Dog!

I also get to go to mommy's new school to play about once a week. I go in the Dolphins room with my teacher Miss Kayleigh and I'm having so much fun! I get to play with friends and lots of new toys and go to circle time and music/dance class and get to play in the gym. I'm excited to keep going to my new school and learning and playing with my new friends.

I spend three days a week with nana and grandpa Dick while mommy goes to work. I love being with my great-grandparents during the day! It's so special to spend the day with them and they take the best care of me. We love playing downstairs with all my toys and I love playing chase with Grandpa. We watch shows and do fun activities like coloring. I also take really good naps at nana's house. Sometimes I get to sleep on Nana's lap and sometimes I sleep on their bed. Nana also signed me up for swimming lesson. I've only been to a couple but I think I'm going have fun learning to swim. I also get to see Charlotte when she's there for her lessons and I get to see Uncle Sam when he's working at the Bellevue Club.

I now spend the night at Daddy's house once a week. Every Wednesday afternoon, Daddy picks me up for an overnight and I get to play with him and Grandpa and Grandma Mayfield. We have lots of fun together on our special night every week. We usually get yummy dinners like Teriyaki or pizza. I also have a special Mickey Mouse bed that I get to sleep in.

I'm a little bummed that summer is over. I miss all the time at home with mommy and I'll miss the sunny, warm weather as it begins to change. But we still have our grand finale trip to Disneyland in two weeks and I cannot wait! And after that we get to start all our fun fall festivities!
