Train Show!

It was the annual model railroad show this weekend at the science center and mommy knew I would love it! Grandpa and mommy were planning on taking me and we invited great-grandpa to come with us as well. We had no idea how popular the train show was! It was packed! When we bought tickets (we are now proud member of the Seattle science center) they said the model train show was one of their most popular weekends of the whole year! They had so many model railroads set up for people to see and watch and I loved it! Everywhere we went there were trains and more trains! There were some pretty amazing layouts and I could have stayed ALL day and watched the trains go by. There was also a train table set-up for kids to play with. There were plenty of trains for all the kids but it was so crowded you couldn't really drive them around very much. There was a mini train ride outside that was a lot of fun! We also saw an IMAX called The Rocky Mountain Express. It was really interesting and I loved it because it had some really great footage of a stream train. We got to the science center around 11:15am and we were there until after 4pm! After the science center, we stopped to get some lunch/dinner at the armory before heading home. It was a long day but I had SO much fun! Here are a few pictures but mommy didn't take very many. She was too busy seeing all the trains! Also, since the Seahawks are in the playoffs, I just had to wear my new Seahawks jersey from Grandpa Mikey!
